Every person in frame is detected and tracked continuously. A live density heatmap builds from position and proximity, and depth-aware clustering tells a genuine crowd apart from people who simply happen to be near each other in the camera's view.
When density crosses a configured threshold, or a tight cluster forms with sustained proximity consistent with a confrontation, the system raises a graduated alert — crowd forming, then mob risk — so security can respond before it escalates.
A gathering can turn into a riot in minutes, but by the time control-room staff notice on a static grid of camera tiles, it's already a crowd-control problem instead of a conversation.
